RESERVATIONS TERMS

​     HELLENIC YACHTS CHARTER 
     TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR DAILY AND WEEKLY CHARTERS

 

  • Payment for the charter must be done only by the person named as charterer on the Charter Party Contract.

    DAILY CHARTERS

  • For the booking of the vessel for a daily charter on the requested date/dates to be officially confirmed, a down payment of 30% of the total amount is required till 7 days after the booking confirmation, which can be done either via Bank transfer, accompanied by proof of transfer, or by Credit/Debit Card, VISA/MASTERCARD, E-POS or by cash. 

  • Final Payment 70% is required at least 7 days before embarkation. 

    DAILY CRUISES CANCELLATION

  • For bookings for Daily Cruises cancelled between the date of booking and 7 days before embarkation, no refund will be returned to the client. 

  • For bookings for Daily cruises cancelled, 7 days before embarkation, 80% of the total charter fee will be withheld by the shipowner.

    WEEKLY CHARTERS

  • For the booking of the vessel for a weekly charter on the requested date/dates to be officially confirmed, a down payment of 30% of the total amount is required till 7 days after the booking confirmation, which can be done either via Bank transfer, accompanied by proof of transfer, or by Credit/Debit Card, VISA/MASTERCARD, E-POS or by cash. 

  • The remaining amount, 70% must be paid at least 2 weeks before embarkation on the vessel, either via Bank transfer, accompanied by proof of transfer, or by Credit/Debit Card, VISA/MASTERCARD, E-POS  or by cash.

    APA PROVISIONING

  • ADVANCE PROVISIONING ALLOWANCE is the amount intended to cover operational expenses for bunkering, food supplies and any other incidental expenses which are described in detail hereunder. 


     EXTRA Operational Expenses referring to APA will be approx. 35% of the total  charter rate.

  • For the operational expenses, the amount of the A.P.A. (Advance Provisioning Allowance) must be paid before embarkation of the vessel, specifically 2 weeks before embarkation, along with the final payment of the booking.

     The amount will be handed over to the Captain in order to supply the yacht with provisions, prior to                  clients’ arrival and cover expenses, which will be paid by the Captain during the charter.
     Final calculations will be made at the end of the charter, with as many supporting  receipts and Invoices as      possible. In case the already given amount appears to be  insufficient, the Captain or Broker will advise
     the client accordingly in order to settle the balance of the expenses.
     In the contrary case, client will be refunded with any remaining balance. 

 

     BOOKING CANCELLATION

  • In the event of cancellation of the booking of a Weekly Charter of the vessel
    15 days before embarkation ,70% of the amount is to be refunded to the client.

  • In the event of cancellation of the booking of the vessel less than 15 days before embarkation, no amount is to be refunded to the client. 

  • In the event that the requested excursion cannot be completed due to safety reasons and/or weather conditions, an alternative excursion will be offered, providing this is possible. If an alternative route is not possible to complete, or it is not desired by the charterer, an option of an alternative date of charter will be offered, provided of course there is availability of the chosen vessel. In the case that neither an alternative excursion, nor an alternative date is feasible, either from the owner, or from the charterer, a refund of the down payment will be completed. In any case, it must be noted that the owner cannot take responsibility for any given changes due to weather conditions. 

  • In the case of mechanical difficulties with the selected boat, the funds will be returned in full amount.

  • Extraordinary expenses such as special requirements or equipment, shoreside transport or excursions, equipment rental by third parties, tour guides and in general any expenses no  part of the vessel's operating costs are payable by Charterer. Payment for such expenses may be required in advance through the Broker or by cash payment to Captain upon embarkation 

  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all payments pertinent to this agreement are to be made in the currency agreed which is EURO (€)

    DAILY CHARTERS FUELS

  • For the daily trips kindly note that this price is calculated on the fuel for the daily trip price not surpassing 2.20 € for petrol and 1.80 for diesel. In the event that the fuel price rises above this amount, the prices may be subject to change. 
     

     Booking Procedure
      You can search for availabilities through our online reservation system and proceed  to book your                   transfer, excursion ,daily excursion or weekly charter.
      After confirming the reservation of the boat you wish to rent we will send you a booking confirmation.
      You will have to send it back to us signed by you within 3 days.

 

  • Upon completion of the forementioned down payment consisting of 30% of the total amount for the confirmation of the booking, it is officially considered that the charterer has read, accepted and agreed with all the above terms. 

   

  • Charter Party Contract

      Our Crewed  Charter packages are based on a Charter Party Contract which is official charter contract in         Greece.
